Our Jamba Clay Salicylic Mask is designed as a weekly treatment for acne or congested skin. Salicylic acid is a beta hydroxy acid, it is effective at dissolving oil and, therefore very useful for clogged pores. It is also less irritating than alpha hydroxy acids.

Salicylic acid is also excellent at sloughing away dead skin cells, so can also be useful in other skin types requiring exfoliation.

The combination of French clay and Moroccan lava clay aids to draw out impurities from the skin. We have combined these with some well known Ayurvedic ingredients for their antibacterial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and detoxifying qualities.

Tulsi (Holy basil) - Traditional Ayurvedic herb which has antibacterial qualities and assists acne prone skin.
Moroccan Lava Clay (Ghassoul) - Super fine powdered clay which feels silky smooth when mixed with water. It has a high mineral content, especially silica and draws impurities from the skin. Suitable for sensitive skin as well.
Turmeric Oil - A potent anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and anti carcinogenic activity. For skin it is excellent for acne, pigmentation and ageing skin.
Coriander Oil - Taken from the coriander seed, the oil is antioxidant, anti fungal and antibacterial. It is excellent for helping treat closed comedones and detoxifying the skin.

How To USe

Cleanse skin thoroughly, gently exfoliate with Samskrta Skin Polish, rinse, and tone if desired. Apply the mask with a brush or fingers (remove the required amount from the jar to avoid contamination). Apply an even application over the face and leave it on for approximately 10 minutes. Use our Bamboo face cloth and lukewarm water to gently remove the mask. Once removed apply your desired serum and moisturiser.

Note: If you have dry/sensitive or dehydrated skin you may combine this clay mask with our rasadana Hydrating Mask, this will ensure the mask does not dry on the skin. Apply and remove as above.
